Sir,

I have the honour to allress you with regard to Government Notification No. 305 establishing a Parcel Post with the

United States of America via London.

As such is of practically no use for Firms anl Resilents in China I would suggest extenling the same via a Pacific Slope Port, ani, shoall British Packets be a necessity, that a similar arrangement, to that in the Notification above referral to, be rale by the Hongkong Postal Administration, with the Dominion Express Company of Canada, Vancouver, who, if they have not alrealy Agencies in the principal Cities and Towne in the United States, coull be relied on to form aase,

while it woull cover as a matter of course all the principal

Canalian Points.

Such an arrangement woull at once capture all Tea Masters which go forward by Parcel Express which, from this Port alone swells to many thousani lollars luring the Tea season and woull prove a great boon to all resilents in China who have relations with Canala or the United States.
